Hypertension
Hypertension is a serious matter!
The BRFSS tracks hypertension for select years. According to the BRFSS, hypertension is one of the most prevalent chronic conditions in Prince George's County. The percentage of Prince George's County Residents who indicated that they received a diagnosis of high blood pressure is provided below:

To address the reduction of hypertension in the county, Prince George's County Health Department encourages residents to make regular visits to their Primary Care Physician. Low-income and uninsured residents can visit any of the county's Regional Health Centers, Federally-Qualified Health Centers, and clinics.
