Diabetes is a serious matter
Since 1995, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has partnered with Maryland's Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DHMH), to conduct the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance Survey (BRFSS). The BRFSS has tracked diabetes every year, from 1995 to the present. According to the BRFSS, diabetes is one of the most prevalent chronic conditions in Prince George's County. The percentage of Prince George's County Residents who indicated that they received a diagnosis of diabetes, are provided for every fifth year from 1995 to 2010, and 2011, below:
Year | 1995 | 2000 | 2005 | 2010 | 2011 |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
