These initiatives are funded by Maryland-National Parks and Planning Recreation, and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, respectively, and debut in the fall via

"The healthcare needs of society changes every day, and we understand that social media is the communications vehicle of choice today. The Health Department is committed to using varied avenues, both strategically and integrated, to converse with our Prince George's County's residents," said Pamela B. Creekmur, Health Officer. "They deserve no less."

With HEAL, Prince George's County residents can access healthcare services such as weight management; affordable, nutritious foods; physical fitness; and tobacco prevention options.
